WHOLE LOTTA LED '99
at The AXIOM

On March 17th (St. Patrick's Day) 1999 I went to the AXIOM ARTS CENTRE in Cheltenham to see a tribute band for LED ZEPPELIN who go under the name of WHOLE LOTTA LED. The concert did not start until 9.30 pm. so it was going to be a late night. I thought the band performed the tunes very well, and I was very impressed with the drummer. They performed for over two hours with a twenty minute break after the first hour.

The highlights for me were when they performed DAZED AND CONFUSED, GALLOWS POLE, COMMUNICATION BREAKDOWN, RAMBLE ON, WHOLE LOTTA LOVE, and STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN. The last song being a total surprise as I had previously been told that they did not perform it.

By the time the concert ended it had gone midnight.
